Speed limits and electric bikes
Speed limits and parent responsibilities I have a real problem with the parents of children I see running around the neighborhood on their electric bikes, some kids probably as young as 5, without helmets and without regard for their safety. Everyone thinks it won’t happen to me until it does. Someone is going to be backing out of their driveway and not able to see a child on their electric bike racing by and they are going to have to live with what happened to that child for the rest of their lives while the parents blame that person instead of looking at themselves. I Have personally seen multiple times where these children have not watched or didn’t know what the stop sign means and cars have had to break sharply to avoid possibly killing a child.
