The Digital Haus: Why Germany’s Building Automation Market is Booming

Germany, the economic engine of Europe, is undergoing a profound structural shift in its built environment. The market for Building Automation Systems (BAS) is thriving, driven not by fleeting trends, but by deeply ingrained national priorities: stringent energy efficiency mandates, a focus on engineering excellence, and the rapid digitization of its massive industrial base. For facilities across the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors, intelligence is fast becoming a mandatory feature, not a luxury.

The Regulatory Imperative: Efficiency as Law

The single largest accelerator for the German BAS market is the country’s unwavering commitment to climate goals and energy efficiency. European Union directives, translated into strong national laws like the Buildings Energy Act, actively push for energy-efficient, intelligent buildings.

Prepared Hero Fire Blankets

At the last HOA meeting, I mentioned that I would have Prepared Hero Fire Blankets. I like to purchase in quantities that reduces the price for everyone, especially for a life safety item such as this. I purchased enough of them to reduce the individual price to $14 each, which includes shipping and tax. I think the best deal I am seeing now is $16.99 each plus tax. If you are interested in any, my email is dpdelong49@gmail.com

Many thanks, stay safe,

Dennis

I Have personally seen multiple times where these children have not watched or didn’t know what the stop sign means and cars have had to break sharply to avoid possibly killing a child. Someone is going to live with this. I don’t know the answer if…
